Jonathon Larsen is a visual artist with a diverse range of skills. He has however always possessed a singular passion when pursuing his art career during the past 30 years. His multidisciplinary approach to art and design comes from believing that creative skills are transferable. This has not always been easy but by constantly experimenting with different mediums and techniques, moving across the disciplines and to an extent, developing a working familiarity with computers he has avoided starving in the garret.
He has won awards for animation and his artworks hang in various private collections. He is the recipient of various grants and has a track record of painting, printmaking, animation, design, teaching, working in galleries and creating commissioned work. This is all combined with with ongoing commitment to exhibiting.
